Choosing between a training vault or course, how do you know which one is your best fit? Google ways to boost your business and you’ll surely find results with courses, training vaults, coaching sessions, and the like. While all these are good things to consider, we should have a discussion about which one is actually best for you. Below, I go into detail about the differences (similarities) between a training vault and a course. Then, I’ll help you identify which one is the best choice to help grow your business.
Why choose either one to begin with?
If there’s one saying that’s proven to be true time and time again, it’s that you must get into a position of investing in yourself and your business in order to see the best return on investment. Simply put, what you pour into you and your business will eventually come out and affect your products, services, and clients.
I personally create all of my signature products and services around helping my clients reach their full potential, visibly see their next, and take immediate actions toward it. But if I’m not working on this for myself and actively walking it out, how can I genuinely help my clients? My advice to you is to start making room for business-boosting investments like courses, training vaults, and coaching sessions.
What is a Training Vault?
In a nutshell, a training vault sounds exactly like what it’s called. It is typically a vault filled with a variety of training angled around the chosen pillars of the person’s brand who’s offering it. In my case, my training vault is positioned around several key pillars with mindset, clarity, and positioning is a few.
Training vaults can also house a number of exclusive resources. For example, the Mindset Mastery Vault gives members access to 10 modules, over 12 workbooks, an inner healing and EFT tapping call, a private Facebook group, and special discounts on other programs, courses, and products.
Overall, a training vault is a good fit if you’re already on fire for your business and looking to keep it ignited. It’s also perfect if you:
Want to move past any blockages hindering real business growth.
Are looking for more of a short-term program/service.
Need to make quick adjustments to your business and strategies.
Enjoy working within a virtual group setting.
Are ready to do the tasks necessary to bring about change in your business.
What are the benefits of taking a course?
A course may often be seen as something equivalent to a training vault; however, they can be quite different. A course, depending on the creator, is typically offered in a self-paced format. This means once you’ve purchased the course, it’s up to you to work through it. You’ll also be responsible for implementing the tools taught in it.
Unlike a training vault, which would normally give you access to a variety of topics, courses are generally geared toward one particular area of focus. The modules, workbooks, and other resources are geared toward the specific point of interest.
Some coaches offer additional perks with their courses such as one-on-one coaching, but this isn’t too common in the course world. They are usually created to provide better flexibility with your schedule.
Courses may be the best fit for you if you’re looking to boost your business in one key area. They should also be considered if/when you need to:
Focus on a specific part of your brand.
Incorporate new tactics and policies in your business.
There are many avenues to take when wanting to boost your business and a training vault and/or course are two specific ways I highly recommend looking into. They each have their own uniqueness and depending on your current needs, one is bound to be a great fit. If you’d like assistance with choosing the best option, let’s hop on a quick discovery call!
Let’s chat about clues that show you may be out of alignment with your natural giftings. Lately, my daughter’s been experiencing some stress around all the different paths she can take in her life right now. Seeing her navigate this hurdle made me think of this space here – accepting your natural giftings and being in alignment with them. There’s no doubt about the fact that we all face this hurdle at some point in our entrepreneurial journey. In fact, I’d almost say it’s a necessary path to take.
How often do you stress about…
What you should do?
What action you should take next?
Should you leave that soul-sucking job?
Should you launch that particular program?
Or, should you be operating the business you’re running as of now (or be doing something else)?
These questions may seem taxing; however, they are perfectly fine to ask. When you find yourself at the crossroads of answering each one, they actually give you very much-needed clues about your next steps. The biggest hindrance is when you get stuck in the answers. Once you’ve answered them, it’s time to take action.
it all boils down to your natural giftings
I often walk my clients through an exercise that invites them to take a look back at their childhood. While visiting memories, we hone in on experiences that endorse their natural giftings. These are what typically come to life in their chosen line of work.
If you just happen to do this exercise, pay attention to the little things that lit you on fire when you were just a kid. Think about the qualities you had that felt natural to operate in. Then, you’ll most likely arrive at the conclusion of what you should be doing.
Sometimes we let the fear of pursuing something new or the fear of missing out get in the way of living a life fulfilled. Are you worrying more about how you’re going to take care of yourself versus how much you can trust God to catch you when you take a leap into what feels natural and what feels good?
When I say what feels natural and what feels good, I’m referring to how you serve in this lifetime within the capacity of your everyday being, everyday energy, and everyday operations. If the thought of this space has you stumped or feeling out of alignment, let’s highlight some cues to confirm that notion.
5 Clues You’re Out of Alignment with Your Natural Giftings
These clues aren’t meant to be off-putting. The truth of the matter is we have to come to terms with any and everything that is attempting to hinder our God-given giftings and abilities. These are the very essence of what makes businesses work, and any portion of it being out of alignment can jeopardize your true potential.
As you read through these clues and questions, answer them truthfully. Take time to meditate on your responses and even write them down:
You feel drained and you dread showing up in your current career.
You’re trying to pursue something to prove you’re good enough.
Other people’s voices are louder than the still, small voice of God.
You’ve allowed industry trends to derail you from your own ideas and creativity.
When someone asks you what you do, you cringe at trying to respond.
Do any of these sound familiar? Were your responses “yes” more than “no?” If so, here are some action steps to start taking now:
Be okay with where you currently are in life and business, but decide today that you’re not going to stay there.
Revisit your why and the whole purpose for starting your business.
Take another look at your goals and see if your day-to-day tasks are genuinely getting you there.
Refresh your why, vision, mission, and goals that align with where you want to be in life in business.
As a woman and a leader in the coaching industry, building your business requires you to have a mindset for success. There are many facets to consider that will not only give you fuel to help your clients but also what you need in your own personal life. Coaches have the unique ability to mask things they may be going through; however, this doesn’t always work in your favor. In the end, the ultimate goal is to understand the role the healing process plays in your own life so you can stay connected with aligned opportunities.
3 Requirements to Have a Mindset for Success
Requirement #1: Have a clear definition of success.
Success can look like many things depending on who you’re talking to. One person may identify it as having a certain size house or driving a specific kind of car. Another may see success in making a certain amount of money per month. The big question here is how do you define success? Although this can change over time, you’ll want to be clear about what this means for you.
Grab a pencil and piece of paper and begin writing down your definition of success. You can most likely find your answer(s) within the goals you have set for your business. Pay attention to where your emphasis is placed as well. Is your definition of success monetarily based? Do you see and/or desire success in other areas? Think outside the box and include other aspects such as mental, emotional, and physical too.
Requirement #2: Ensure baggage from your past isn’t affecting your outlook of success.
Over 90% of my clients have an ah-ha moment while working through this requirement. They never make the connections with their past baggage and present outlook of success until we start talking about it. For example, I had one client realize that her fears around setting a high-ticket price to her service were connected to money struggles she witnessed by her mom as a child. Once she was able to make those connections, she could begin working on her fears around money.
This is just one example of past baggage, but on the same sheet of paper that you used to define success, write down any known baggage that you think could be affecting your outlook of success. Don’t worry about working through them right now, but get out as much as you can.
Requirement #3: Have the ability to release your fear of failure.
This generally means being able to be resilient and bounce back from your own hiccups, setbacks, and failures. None of these get the final say in whether or not you’re successful, but most people allow them to identify their future. If most of us are honest, we were either taught that failure was bad or not taught how to properly recover from it. These almost always show up while I’m working with my clients.
We typically get to a point where they finally identify subconscious struggles that end up robbing their confidence, tenacity, and desire to keep moving forward and reach their goals.
The Need for Healing Work
I briefly shared a few scenarios of how subconscious healing & energy psychology work can help you identify blockers that some people don’t realize they even have. The truth of the matter is the healing process brings about greater confidence and fewer triggers to scenarios that would bring about fear, rejection, misconnection, and the like.
The framework I use in both my consulting and certification programs teaches you how to develop a positive mindset, become self-motivating, and replace limiting beliefs with positive reframed and experiences. All of which go hand-in-hand with having the right kind of mindset for success.
I’d love to work with you!

People often ask how Soulfully Aligned You was born, and I realize that I haven’t quite told this story before. I’m always intrigued by how others started their businesses and from what deep places their motivation comes from. So, it’s only proper that I tell you about mine!
The Inner Battle
Before I ever started college, I had this inner battle about leaving my church to go off to college and pursue a degree in Psychology. I was warned by spiritual leaders that psychology would lead me away from God. So there was always this looming fear that I would renounce my faith to this secular industry of psychology.
With that fear, I sought to get my masters in counseling at a christian college and guess what? Pushing past that fear was the best decision I ever made. That program actually drew me closer to God. I was excited to be going into the counseling field and then I hit snag. I wouldn’t be getting my licensure due to military relocation and now I’d have to chart my own path.
God’s Plans vs. My Plans
God sent me on an unsuspecting path of pursuing an old passion of makeup artistry. During that time, I didn’t realize it would be a training ground for the mindset and visibility coaching I am presently doing today. The lessons learned during this time would prepare me for helping women who are wanting to take their desires and pivot or launch their passions. It would give me the confidence to help me take their passions from their little secret journals to a living breathing reality.
In my pursuit to grow my business again, that looming fear that business and money would lead me away from God began to stir up again. As a woman of faith, when you love God, you get cautious about the things that could possibly distract you, but you must be careful not to allow that caution to turn into fear.
How Soulfully Aligned You Was Born
What I know from this journey is that walking fully in your calling to the marketplace as a Christian Woman can be a foggy journey with unwarranted fears. It can come with triggers from your past, twists and turns, and ups and downs. You may even begin questioning yourself, not believing in yourself, and comparing yourself. At other times you may find yourself being okay with the status quo, not recognizing your worth, and playing way too small.
I was playing too small by hiding out in the makeup industry knowing that God was calling me to do much more than makeup! There’s a season for preparation and growth but at some point you either have to launch out or pivot into your more! When I found the Splankna Therapy Institute, that was my opportunity to pivot into my more. I took a leap of faith to learn this beautiful inner healing and mind body protocol and my life has never been the same.
Here I was a pro makeup artist with a Masters in Human Service Counseling in a room filled mainly with licensed therapists. I had the subtle thought “I don’t belong here.” In my training class there may have been 3 of us outliers who weren’t “qualified,” but that was okay because God had other plans for me. I had no clue how big they were.
I’m forever grateful to Sarah for allowing non licensed people to take her training. With her, the foundation for bridging the gap between mind body psychology, business coaching, and spirituality set my coaching business in motion.
My makeup artistry is about simplistic and natural outer beauty transformations that build confidence in women. My holistic coaching and training company is about an inner transformation. The kind that helps you manifest your God-inspired goals and desires for your life and business by walking in alignment. And not just any alignment, but aligned with the truth about what God believes about who you are and your abilities.

One of the top questions we often ask ourselves is, “How do I know my desires aren’t just me?” This is certainly a valid question to ask and we should ask it more often than not. Why? Well, for starters, it’s really easy to get side-tracked from the desires God has for you. Left unchecked for too long and you’ll certainly find yourself declaring and doing things that are not part of your Spirit-led calling. As a well-established multi-passionate entrepreneur, I have veered off my path… several times. But what I’d like to share with you in this post is the process of dividing my own desires from that of God. In addition, I’m gonna share with you how God responds if you make a mistake even after trying your best.
3 Ways to Know Your Desires Aren’t Just You
Just in case you’re new here, my name is Justina, The Soul-Brand Alignment Strategist. I’m a Christian Inner Healing Practitioner and Intuitive Business Coach, and I help my clients chart their own paths, create their own passion-based businesses, and build cohesive brands so they can be more visible and profitable in their business. Now that we’ve met, let’s talk about your desires and knowing they aren’t just you.
The ‘New Age’ world would say…
You are your own creator. You can create your own desires based on your own likes (and dislikes) and you have the power to manifest whatever you want. They would also give you tons of affirmations, mantras, and declarations that would continue putting you in God’s seat. Not to say that God doesn’t give us any of the above, but there has and always will be an order to the way He does things – especially when it comes to what He created.
Questions to Ask Yourself
The three questions we’re going to look at below are the keys to knowing whether or not your desires aren’t just you. I can tell you from personal experience that these questions were life-changing for me. I could begin seeing my desires shift on all levels and the boldness to walk out my calling became evident. As you read each question and snippet that follows, take a few moments to really meditate and prayerfully consider your answers. In fact, it’s probably a good idea to go ahead and grab a journal.
Do you have a relationship with God and have you asked him to be Lord over your life?
This is probably one of the single most important questions to ask yourself, especially as a professing believer in God. It’s easy to give lip service, but how do you genuinely feel about this question? Is your relationship built on the faith of others around you? Is your relationship with God built on legalism or performance in hopes to gain His love and blessings?
The second part of this question involves the part of the relationship that most people aren’t quite all-in on. When asking God to be Lord over your life, this means relinquishing control. Oftentimes, we want to control our gifts, talents, and desires. In reality, we need to give every bit of this to the One we proclaim as Lord over our lives. As you answer these two questions, be honest with any areas that may need refining. Give them to God and pray for a fresh start.
Have you prayed and asked God to place His desires in your heart to make your heart sensitive to the things of His heart?
Truthfully, to hear the answers to this kind of prayer, you’ll need to have established a relationship with God and given Him lordship over your life. This will put you one step closer to hearing His desires versus your own. This is the very prayer that was a game-changer for me. Praying for God to empty me of myself and fill me with Him was just the beginning.
I could then become more clear, aligned, and in tune with what He was calling me to do and manifest the business of my dreams. And I knew it was of Him when I started having thoughts like, “Who me? You want me to do what? How am I gonna-” and so on. You see, God’s desires for us are always going to be more than we can fathom. What He calls us to do will always seem to be bigger than ourselves. And there’s a reason for it. He wants us totally dependent upon Him.
Does it line up with His word?
Once you begin receiving downloads of God’s desires for your life, make sure they line up with His Word. When these desires are from God, you won’t have to twist, bend, or manipulate scripture to make them line up. You’ll be able to clearly see that they line up with His Word and you’ll see the fruit of pursuing it.
Resources to Help
I can’t sit here and say that I navigated this process all on my own. There are 2 books that I’ve read that really helped me in this process of dividing my own desires from that of God. The first book is Called to Create by Jordan Raynor. He helps artists, entrepreneurs, writers, and other creatives reimagine our work as a service to God and others. The second book is Discerning the voice of God by Priscilla Shirer. Her book contains insights that will aid you in your desire to hear God speak.
Final Thoughts
It is 100% normal to question whether or not your desires are you or of God. It’s healthy to ask yourself this along life’s journey to make sure you are constantly in alignment with what He created you to do. Get in the habit of asking this and using the three questions above to journal out your answers. As time passes on, you can look back and see how you and your desires have changed. And I’m willing to bet they will be in alignment with the specific season of life you’re in.

I was so excited to find out that my blog made the 10 best coach website designs for 2020! Of course this poses the question of how is that possible? Read on to find out my top 5 tips for how to position your website to stand out and get noticed.
THE IMPORTANCE OF HAVING A WEBSITE
If you want to stand out, first and foremost it is important to have a website that speaks to your brand and message. This gives those searching for services and products and who like what you offer the ability to even find you in the first place. They will be able to see, read, and experience you. Thi will all aid in if they want to do business with you, or not. Keep in mind that behind your website should be a trusted website host. I use and highly recommend BlueHost.
Now let’s talk about making your website stand out…
GREAT MENU STRUCTURE
It’s pretty safe to say that a great menu structure can save even the most confusing looking website (although confusing is not what you want). When your menu is structured in a way that is easy to see and navigate, you will more than likely experience more clicks and longer visit rates.
Some may say that you want to keep your menu short and sweet; however, I actually have 8 tabs which all clearly define what you can find on my website. I don’t want anything hidden, rather than showing visitors all I have to offer up front.
COOL COLOR SCHEME
Color is everything, and typically this can be the hardest thing to decide on. I recommend looking at different color palettes and going with what resonates with you. If you like pastels, go pastel. If you like poppy colors, go poppy!
It is totally up to you the color scheme that you choose, but be sure to stay true to your personality and don’t deviate! Color should just as importantly speak to your ideal clients and potential customers. It should tell a story and be the voice for your brand.
GREAT, PERSONAL IMAGES
If you want people to get a personal feel for you when they visit your website, use more images of yourself than others. Show people your personality, style, and character by letting them see you. This will take a small investment in getting some professional pictures taken, but it is worth it.
Once you have your pictures, position them on several different pages and in strategic places. I typically go for the top left of pages and occasionally in the margins.
CLEAR CALL TO ACTION
Positioning your call to action is super important, especially if you want people to actually take advantage of what you have to offer. The worst thing you can do is send people on a wild goose chase to connect with you. And don’t think you can have too many calls to action.
You’ll notice a call to action on every single one of my pages, blog posts, and in the margin. Why? Simply put, I want to clearly communicate that I am ready and willing to work with them. I do not want to be shy about my services, let alone hide them!
CLEAN DESIGN
A clean design may be a matter of perspective, but outside looking in, a clean design is one that is clutter-free, bright-colored, and free from too many distractions. Think whitespace, minimal designs, and good scrolling animations. These designs are easy on the eyes, making it easy to read and navigate. We used Divi Theme for our site and our customer sites!!
In essence, having a website is a must. Creating it with a design that helps it stand out and get noticed is a necessity. However, behind any great website is a soulful brand strategy that aids the design, structure, and purpose of the website. Want support building a website with a clean design, clear call to actions, great images, aligned color scheme and relevant menu structure? Book a discovery call with us and I’ll be totally honest on if you’re ready to invest in a website at this time or not!!
