Mindset to Manifest Reachable Goals

Mindset to Manifest Reachable Goals

Think for a moment… How many goals have you set, but never reached? What do you think the reason is behind that? Lack of drive, ambition, or a real strategy that brings results? Regardless of why you haven’t reached them, let’s talk about five key mindset shifts to help you manifest reachable goals.

CHECK YOUR VISION

If you’ve been in business for any amount of time, most likely you have written out a vision statement. This statement serves as the focus for your business and helps with taking it in the direction you envision it to go. However, sometimes we can get off track from our vision and could use a reset.

In this case, it is important that your goals are in alignment with your vision. If they do not compliment each other, then it could be a reason why you’re not seeing goals met. If you find that your goals are not quite in alignment with your vision statement, it’s okay. Take time to think about a fresh set of goals and follow the remaining tips.

BE CLEAR ABOUT WHAT YOU WANT

When I ask a client, “What do you want from your business? What do you hope to get out of your business?” they are either at a loss for words, or can give an elaborately detailed answer that they are still struggling to achieve. Being clear about what you want is one of the most overlooked steps when wanting to reach goals.

Why? Because most people only have a clouded vision of what they want coupled with a lack of detail as to how to get what they want. To start gaining clarity, get a notebook and begin to write down what you want in plain detail… down to the minutiae of your dreams.

BOOST YOUR MOTIVATION

Do you remember that feeling you felt when first starting your business? The burst of energy to plan all the things, do all the things, and the motivation to make it all work. That same tenacity isn’t always long-lived, and it takes a mental shift to keep your motivation boosted.

Sometimes what kept your momentum up in the beginning isn’t what will keep going, especially when things get tough. To keep a fire in your momentum tank, consider asking yourself the following questions:

  • Who is impacted by my dream?
  • Who benefits from my business?
  • What would happen if I gave up?

These three questions alone can bring a new outlook to your vision, mission, and why you have started your business in the first place.

KEEP YOUR BELIEFS CHECK

In the last blog post of this series, we talked about having the mindset have a healed limiting belief system. This is an ongoing practice because as soon as you’ve mastered one belief, something else can creep up and attempt to bring you back to square one. It may not seem easy, but it is absolutely necessary to keep your beliefs in check.

Use the tips in this post to help do just that. You’ll see how it plays a vital role in manifesting reachable goals.

EMBRACE DISCIPLINE AND MAKE A PLAN

Highly successful business owners will tell you that there are two things they had to come to terms with in order to reach their goals – being disciplined and having a plan. Discipline involves working consistently; and even deeper, developing healthy daily habits and being aware of distractions. Think about the current habits you have. Are they helping or hindering your goals?

Now think about your distraction meter. Are you overwhelmed by distractions or are you able to stay focused on what you need to do? The answers to those questions will tell you how your mindset needs to shift in order to reach your goals.

Lastly, it’s time to reach your dreams. This is where planning comes into play, but not just any type of planning. The kind of planning that helps shift your mindset to one that manifests reachable goals consists of:

  • Actionable steps.
  • Investment in acquiring any necessary skills.
  • Investment in acquiring any necessary knowledge.
  • Consistency.

3 Ways a Sales Mindset Will Boost Your Business

3 Ways a Sales Mindset Will Boost Your Business

3 Ways a Sales Mindset Will Boost Your Business

This post may contain affiliate links. For full affiliate disclosure click here.

One aspect of owning a business that people are rarely prepared for is sales. Believe it or not, the moment you launch your business, you’ve taken a step into the sales department. This single avenue has the ability to make or break your business, so it’s important to develop a sales mindset early on.

If you’re not sure you have what it takes to succeed in selling, let alone understand the important role it plays – consider these 3 ways a sales mindset will boost your business (and your confidence at the same time).

What is a Sales Mindset?

Before diving into the three ways a sales mindset will boost your business, it’s important to understand what a sales mindset is. Rather than thinking of it as some abstract thing of its own, consider it being a natural part of who you are and how you operate as a business owner.

A sales mindset isn’t set aside for those corporate business. Nope. Whether you’re a small business owner or freelancer, developing an effective sales mindset is for you too. In a nutshell, a sales mindset can be wrapped up in the following characteristics:

  • Knowing your product/service and how it helps people.
  • Being helpful rather than pushy.
  • Always having your client’s best interests at heart.
  • Embracing failure as a part of success.
  • Seeing yourself worthy enough to work with your ideal customers in the first place
  • Letting go of limiting beliefs that say “who am I to charge that rate”

Now let’s look at the different ways a sales mindset will boost your business.

A Sales Mindset Will Boost Your Work Ethic

Regardless of what level of work ethic you started with in the beginning, having an effective sales mindset will boost it. A sales mindset will have you:

  • Constantly building a stronger work ethic.
  • Operating at a level of energy that is contagious.
  • Never compromising your integrity to work honestly.
  • Prepared for what comes with owning a business.

These four things alone are business-boosting characteristics that will constantly pour fuel into your work ethic tank. The results? A business that invigorates trustworthiness – something that attracts (and keeps) customers and clients to your product/services.

A Sales Mindset Will Boost Your Customer Service

As a business owner, you are pretty much the head of every department – including customer service. Interwoven within your work ethic is the ability to get the job done, get it done on time, and get it done right.

In this particular area, having a sales mindset says:

  • Even if I have 1 customer, I will take care of him/her as if I had 30.
  • I will pay attention to detail.
  • I will listen to my customer’s needs.

This will no doubt boost your business and most likely keep customers coming back… not to mention, result in past customers bringing in referrals.

A Sales Mindset Will Boost Your Goal-Setting

Goal-setting is such an integral part to boosting your business. Without goals, it can be hard to see the true direction that you would like your business to go. In retrospect, it can also be difficult to see how far your business has come.

Keeping in line with having a sales mindset, it will help you set business-boosting goals such as:

  • A thirst for self-improvement.
  • Being consistent with and in your business.
  • Reaching an income you only dreamed about.

Of course there are many more goals that could be added to this list, but the point is to see how a sales mindset works hand-in-hand with goal setting and boosting your business.

The Importance of Adopting a Sales Mindset

At the end of the day, no matter what kind of business you have, your sales mindset affects everything. For some, it could be the skills or techniques holding them back. For others, it could be their thought patterns around the initial idea of having to sell.

Giving the proper attention to developing a sales mindset to boost your business will help you be successful in whatever line of work you are doing. And, you’re guaranteed to boost your work ethic, customer service, and goal-setting skills in the process!

The Top 3 Reasons Why Emotional Branding and On-Brand Content are Imperative to Your Passion-Based Business

The Top 3 Reasons Why Emotional Branding and On-Brand Content are Imperative to Your Passion-Based Business

Emotional Branding is a fancy marketing communication word that means you are taking measures in your business to appeal directly to your ideal client’s state, needs, and aspirations. As a soul-brand alignment strategist, I know that connecting to your clients state of mind and life aspirations is imperative to the growth of your passion-based business. In my programs, I help my clients form an emotional connection with their audience by tapping into their own emotions first. We do this on the subconscious level through energy psychology protocols.

If you can’t heal your own hidden emotions you become blocked and unaware of what your ideal clients are actually feeling or experiencing right before needing to make a decision about your services. You don’t want to miss out on connecting emotionally with your ideal clients. This is an entire aspect of marketing that is essential to closing your sales. Emotions can elicit a certain feeling about a particular program, service or product. Decision making is 90% based on emotion and when you can tap into the emotions of your ideal client’s it is easier to build like, know and trust.

When people say “looking within is your first step to building a successful business” they really mean it. Usually, you’ll hear super successful people in business make this claim. In my past when I’ve heard this claim, I remember thinking, “Really?? They just gave a cliche answer because they don’t want to share the secret sauce to success. They are holding back the good stuff”. But, As I’ve grown in my own business success, I can now say that this is so true!! In order to tap into Emotional Branding and Successful On-Brand Content you really do need to search within and stop looking outward. The answers really are within you

3 reasons why healing your own hidden emotions helps you to be better at emotional branding so you can create amazing on-brand content that actually connects.

1.  When you look within, in order to heal or discover your own emotions, it gives you a better idea of why you started your business in the first place. You are able to look at pain points that prompted you to begin on your path with a fresh set of eye.

2.  Once you get clarity around your own “why” and your own story, you can begin to tell your story from a place of transformation instead of pain. Then you are able to connect better with what your client needs to feel and hear in order to know like and trust you.

3.  Once you go through this process, you become an endless content creation machine, You are able to be transparent and vulnerable with your audience without eliciting any negative emotions that block you from being visible with the content that needs to go out in order for you to attract your ideal clients.

Ever wonder why you write that post, stare at it, and then let it sit on your computer. There’s a part of you that:

  • Hasn’t gained the confidence to be vulnerable yet.
  • Doesn’t fully believe in yourself yet
  • Isn’t owning all of your gifts, talents, values, and beliefs yet
  • Doesn’t trust your process and your transformation yet
  • Is blocked and stagnant
  • Fears visibility
  • Needs to clear hidden emotions or limiting beliefs around being visible so you can have specific and unique on-brand content that speaks directly to the heart of your ideal client.

If you want to dig deeper on the emotional branding side of your business and create on-brand content to increase your visibility, book a Soulfully Aligned Business Session with me now!

Do What You Love:  3 Powerful Lessons on Leading Your Business with Purpose

Do What You Love:  3 Powerful Lessons on Leading Your Business with Purpose

Do What You Love:  3 Powerful Lessons on Leading Your Business with Purpose

This post may contain affiliate links. For full affiliate disclosure click here.

“You can only become truly accomplished at something you love. Don’t make money your goal. Instead pursue the things you love doing, and then do them so well that people can’t take their eyes off of you.” — Maya Angelou

What is it that you love most about your business? Is it the fact that you lead with purpose? Are you wondering how to lead your business with purpose? Let’s explore what purpose means.

Purpose

This is the reason for which something is done or created or for which something exists. Your something is “business”. We all have a reason for why our businesses exist or why we want to have a business. We all have an underlying why. We feel it and we sense it. We believe there’s something more, even if we can’t exactly put our finger on it. You started a business and as you begin to do the work on your why you may find that the work you’re currently doing isn’t the business or career for you and that’s ok. Because the goal is to be doing something that you love.

“Sometimes we fall into the trap of thinking that there’s no place to monetize what we love”

Lesson 1: Get Clear

This means that in order to begin to lead with purpose you must be really clear on your reason for beginning your business in the first place. When I first thought about going into entrepreneurship, the only reason I could think of was to make an extra $500 a month. I was a stay at home mom and I wanted to bring in some extra spending money. Money goals are amazing things to have but we really need to begin to dig deeper and underneath the surface of money. I encourage women of faith to visualize their business plans with God .

Or Learn the Hard Way

I remember trying so many different careers and direct sales companies. I never had a clear why on starting these. From insurance sales, substitute teaching, teaching overseas, retail positions to Mary Kay, Avon, Melaleuca, Tastefully Simple, and Doterra. You name it I’ve probably tried a version of it. My purpose then was jumping into the next best thing that could bring me money. What a way to so not lead in my own entrepreneurial journey. How can you begin to lead women in business if you aren’t clear on why you are creating in the first place?

Lesson 2: Your Why is a Direct Connection to Your Purpose

I went so many years spending no real time in this area. When I met my first coach that was supposed to show me how to attract my ideal clients through conversation, she showed me how important my why was. We spent over 3 months on this. Why so long? Because…Your why is connected to:

  • Your content
  • You programs
  • Your products
  • Your social media presence
  • Your live videos
  • Your email series
  • Your sales pages
  • How you interact with your clients
  • How you attract your clients

Your why is everything. If we don’t live in our why’s we get disconnected from the purpose in our businesses.

Lesson 3: Value and Beliefs Hone in Your Purpose

When it comes to leading your Business with purpose it’s important that you’ve created a business that is centered around your value and beliefs. Sometimes we feel we must create cookie-cutter, stale businesses that are centered around hard cold facts and what we can see working out. As God-centered multi-passionate women of faith, your value and beliefs are the guiding force in your life. Getting clear on how that relates to your passion-based business is so essential to being in alignment with your purpose.

Conclusion

God does not operate in a cold impersonal manner and he doesn’t always show us a clear cut path. We are called to walk by faith and not sight. So if the business idea God has given you isn’t as clear cut as you would like it to be, don’t fret because you are leading with purpose my dear; the purpose that has been placed on your life as a woman of faith in the marketplace. What $32 In Your Bank Account Can Teach You About Valuing Your Gifts

What $32 In Your Bank Account Can Teach You About Valuing Your Gifts

What $32 In Your Bank Account Can Teach You About Valuing Your Gifts

I woke up to $32 in my bank account and I was so frustrated! You see I had an account with a pretty decent amount in it close down because of some ignorance on my part. So.. my “pretty decent amount” check was cut and placed in the mail (lala land in my book) on the way to me and my other account had only $32 in it. In that moment, I literally only had $32 to my name … I felt pretty low … like who was I to speak to anyone, who was I to encourage anyone, who was I to be a coach, who was I to be an entrepreneur. I was letting my money define me, I was letting these two digits 3 and 2 tell me what I was capable of; tell me what I was worthy of.
  • I felt like I wasn’t worthy to own a business;
  • I wasn’t worthy to inspire others;
  • I wasn’t worthy to help other women transform their thinking;
  • I wasn’t worthy to help others peel back the layers on their limiting beliefs;
  • I wasn’t worthy to do the energy work that I love so much;
  • I wasn’t worthy to allow God to use me;
  • I wasn’t worthy to write and blog;
  • I wasn’t worthy to motivate and educate others because of these two numbers.
What $32 In My Bank Account Taught MeAdd heading

God kindly reminded me of a day in my makeup business …

A time when it was just makeup and nothing else as part of my brand. I remember a day when I had a makeup gig to do and I only had like $20 to my name but I had to go to the 4 day job and thank God for a full tank of gas, thank God that they feed you while on set, and that when they go from location to location you get in the crew vehicle (that saved me more gas). I had to ask myself when I had $20 in my account did I feel like a less qualified artist, did I do my job worse, or was I less capable artist because of the way the way my bank account looked?? NO not at all. I still received the praise and acknowledgment of doing an amazing job. And to this day I am the preferred makeup artist for this production team. I still had the talent and skill regardless of the $20 in my account and 4 days later after I finished that job they paid me $2,000 in full.

That quick I shifted from an amazing artist with $32 to an amazing artist with $2,000!

Don’t let your $20 mindset stop you from making $2,000. Your worth is not the equivalent of the money in your bank account. Your God-given skills and talents are waiting to be unleashed out into this world for the soul-purpose of serving others and bringing glory to His kingdom. Be a light in the dark places. Be a beacon of hope in the areas of desperation and doubt. Just the same way that my makeup skills don’t disappear overnight, God showed me that I still know how to dig deep with my coaching clients, I still know how to peel back the layers and get to the root of their limiting beliefs, God showed me that he still thought I was worth partnering with creativity, divine inspiration, and divine healing for women who desire to manifest their soul-services into the world.

Let me help you manifest your soul-services into the world! Book a Discovery Session with me here!

And just like that when I learned the lesson literally hours later I had a deposit of $750 hit my account for one of my coaching intensives hit my account just like. God has lessons for us to learn and the quicker we submit and learn them, then he can use us to be a catalyst. An authentic and transparent help to others in our soulful service based business. $32 Bank Account Your service that you bring to the table isn’t based on how much is in your bank account. You’re worth is not tied to money. You are worth so much to the special people that you are meant to serve, they are waiting on you! The amount of money we have the potential to make is connected to our perception of our self-worth. We have to value ourselves first outside of the money, without the money, – $32 in our accounts lol, no titles, no labels.

We need to understand that our talents are valuable to the world

When we get to this point of understanding that we are valuable, we in turn bring value by being who we are, by giving the talents we’ve been blessed with to others, and serving in an authentic way, we operate in a freedom that generates more income, attracts more money, more creativity, and opportunities. We have to know and come to terms with the fact that we deserve to be compensated for our gifts and talents before we can increase our earnings. Clearing the negative energy around not being enough and not being worthy is essential to increasing what we earn.

I’ll Never Be a Real Business Owner

I’ll Never Be a Real Business Owner

Introduction

I hear women use this phrase “I’ll never be a real business owner”. They secretly tell me their greatest fear of never being a real business owner.

You know what I say, “You’re right you will never BE a business….you’re more than that. And you’ll never be an Owner…technically you dont own anything. It all belonged to God first.”

This thing called BEING is so much bigger than we like to ponder on, Who you are is bigger than the titles that others want to put on you and bigger than the titles even you feel you need to hold or carry in order to BE someone or somebody.

Your existence is greater than the stale walls and barriers of a traditional “business”.

Maybe what you really want is to carry yourself in a professional manner and have your soul clients invest in your services.

I mean in all honesty being in business means you are engaging in these activities below

You  take the time to be clear about your offerings

You are a decision maker

You are taking nothing and turning it into something

You have a heart to serve your soul clients

You serve them authentically and genuinely

You take the time to research what your clients want and need (these two are pretty different)

You are learning the way your clients speak so you can stand out in a crowd of sameness

You are being strategic about the solutions you provide to your clients

Youare staying connected and visible with your clients through transformational content that truly solves problem

Sometime we struggle with the cliche titles and labels let’s digger deeper on these things and really evaluate if we are being who we truly want to be.

Qualities of a business owner:

Are you being:

A go-getter

Decision Maker

Driven

Goal-oriented

Passionate

Self-Reliant

Humble resilient

Confident

Budget-minded

Focused

Open-minded

Conclusion

You see this title of business owner is much broader than we think. . It’s about possessing the qualities of a business owner first then bringing in the profit.

A lot of times I see women who want the profits but they don’t want to show up for themselves. They aren’t driven, they aren’t confident, yet they want the title of business owner, entreprenuer whatever you want to call it.

Work on being the woman who serves others, shows up for herself, and keeps her word before you can be a successful “business owner”. This is the essence of becoming the woman you want be. You do this by embodying her, acting in the now, the way she would if she had all the money, possessions, and things that you desire
You can do it, it first takes working on yourself, your mindset, and outlook of whose business you are operating!
