There are several ways women of faith can avoid New Age beliefs in business. In our ever-progressing world where religions seem to be merging in some areas, it is extremely important that Christian businesswomen stand firm in their convictions. I’m sure you’ve seen the rise in New Age beliefs and practices and some of them even seem harmless. The problem is that mixing and mingling different beliefs does not glorify the Father. Keep reading for ways to navigate around adopting New Age beliefs in your Christian-based business.

4 Ways Women of Faith Should Avoid New Age Beliefs in Business

1. Make sure you are aligned with God in your business.

Being out of alignment is one sure way to open the gates to being in alignment with things not of God. When you are in alignment, you can confidently stand in the truth of who (and Who’s) you are. There is also a level of confidence in knowing that God will never leave you or forsake you, as well as guide your every step in business.

2. Avoid New Age beliefs in business by having a heart for God.

This is when I typically start speaking of having a kingdom mindset. Having a kingdom mindset helps you stay clear of anything that contradicts the word of God. You can have a heart for God and a concept for business by finding peace and fulfillment in the things of God. You’ll also need to trust Him in all things, making Him the head of all you do. Last but not least, serve Him in full capacity through every aspect of your business.

3. Keep your desires in check.

It’s natural for us to desire things. In fact, it’s built into our human design. And God wants to give us the desires of our hearts so long as they line up with His Word and principles. From a New Age perspective, you can desire whatever you want and do what it takes to get it. However, this would be within your own power and not through the power of God. Keep your desires in check to prevent blocking your blessings.

4. Always seek to bring glory to God in your business.

When you are focused on glorifying the Father, you’ll be about His business within your own business. You won’t have the time nor give leeway to other truths, values, and/or principles that are not found in Scripture (or twisted). Always submit your plans to Him. Look for ways to be the light in your field. And, remain grateful every step of the way in your business.

Final Thoughts

There’s no doubt that women of faith should avoid New Age beliefs in business. If you find yourself changing your terminology that aligns with a New Age mindset, take the thoughts captive and replace them with God’s truth. Although it may seem appealing and full of “light and love,” there is no greater light and love than that of the Father.

connect with your deepest soul desire in a godly way

When you connect with your deepest soul desire you will get to serve the multitude with your God-given gifts (aka more clients). You also experience provision and overflow for your life, family, and ministry (aka more cash).

The issue is the world has tricked you into thinking that YOU have the burden and stress of manifesting the desires of your heart into your life, family, & business. The truth is if God gave you the desire, won’t He manifest the provision alongside your obedience and faithfulness to fulfill the desire he gave you all along?
